Watershed Discovery CampJuly 27th-31th 2019The Eureka Institute is partnering with the Lake Pend Oreille WATERKEEPER® to host a week-long day camp each summer! This program will engage 8 to 12 year old campers in a variety of educational and fun water stewardship activities. Our unique curriculum is designed to introduce campers to topics that influence the water quality of Lake Pend Oreille and its environmentally diverse areas; from its wetlands to its bays and more.

Watershed Discovery Camp is designed to:
Campers will enjoy a week of hands-on activities including water quality monitoring, shoreline clean-up, invasive species prevention and a wetland ecology field trip. Afternoons will be spent enjoying Lake Pend Oreille with trips to Sandpoint City Beach, kayaking, water-themed arts and crafts and fun at the Eureka Center’s Challenge Ropes Course.

Camp Schedule:
February - registration opens online July 27th - 31th Time 9AM-4PM Monday-Friday (early drop off begins at 8AM, late pick up by 5PM) Tuition: $200 (includes camp t-shirt, water bottle, activity fees, supplies and two healthy snacks each day) Scholarships: Reduced pricing for those in need are available at the rates below.
