The Eureka Center is the premiere lifelong learning and leadership center of the Inland Northwest. Located in stunning northwest Idaho, Eureka Center is an intimate, secluded gathering place designed to emphasize self discovery and wonder for the natural world.
Our 22-acre retreat center in Sagle, Idaho is a hidden paradise nestled in the mountains and just minutes from the shores of Lake Pend Oreille. Our many lodging options range from camping under the stars to vacation rental comfort. Enjoy wooded landscapes, plentiful trail systems, bountiful garden, amphitheater with stage, walking labyrinth, 18-hole disc golf course, and challenge ropes course. The Garden House
Our beautiful Garden House is one of the most flexible spaces on the property. With a covered outdoor picnic/gathering area, this rustic meeting hall has a full kitchen, two sleeping lofts, indoor and outdoor showers, and inviting wood floors. The Garden House is conveniently located next to our organic garden, making it the perfect venue for hosting gardening and cooking workshops. This amazing space has been home to a variety of workshops, yoga retreats, performing arts schools and other educational and recreational events.
The Bunkhouse
Our handcrafted one-room cabin is furnished with four twin beds and includes a generous front deck perfect for stargazing or quiet morning reflection. This structure was actually constructed during our Construction Basics Initiative program in 2014-2015. It has a heater inside for chilly mornings and is a short distance to the garden house where bathrooms and 2 incredible outdoor showers await!
Tent and RV Camping
We welcome tent and RV campers to our picturesque meadow, offering picnic tables and easy access to amenities like the bountiful garden, Garden House, and Outdoor Amphitheater. Portable bathroom facilities and fresh drinking water are provided. Camping space is often included in event ticket prices, but cook stoves are prohibited during fire season. Contact our staff for fire restriction inquiries.
Vacation Rental
The Eureka Center offers a custom 3 bedroom, 2 bath home as a vacation rental. This 2600 sq. foot handcrafted home is a unique sanctuary for the whole family to enjoy. Warm and inviting, this beautiful vacation home includes a great room with fireplace, full kitchen and dining room, a sumptuous master bedroom suite, two additional bedrooms (one with loft), and a wood-fired hot-tub (not available during the summer due to fire hazard).
Outdoor Amphitheater
Immerse yourself in the rustic charm of our outdoor amphitheater, lovingly crafted by hand. Despite its simplicity, this unique venue exudes an undeniable allure, offering a cozy and intimate setting for gatherings of all kinds. Experience the magic of outdoor entertainment surrounded by the beauty of nature at our humble yet enchanting amphitheater.
