In this busy world we live in, it is sometimes hard to find the beauty in slowing down. In this yin practice, we will give ourselves permission to slow down our physical body and breath so that we can also slow down the chatter in our minds. This of this practice as a moving meditation where we can slow things down and clear things out.

A Practice of Slowing Down

Rob and Melissa’s kirtan is a fresh take on an ancient practice, where heart-filled songs blend Sanskrit chants with modern, accessible melodies and lush harmonies. Bhakti Flow with Live Music

with Matthew Chavez

Step into a realm where breath becomes your guide and euphoria awaits at every exhale. This immersive experience is designed to elevate your consciousness while producing a relaxing yet hypnotic state of being. Think of this experience as the "yin" of breathwork, where you will explore gentle techniques that will activate the parasympathetic nervous system and induce the theta brainwave state. In this state, you will enter a tranquil and dream-like space, providing you with the opportunity to release physical tension & mental stress. No prior experience required.

Euphoria - Breathwork Journey

with Christine Matt

A playful, fun and stretchy practice that combines the rhythmic elements of spiral sequencing (returning again and again to specific poses in order to deepen and advance them) with lots of stretching, twisting, and lengthening. Nourish yourself with just the right amount of active movement and static stretching. We will close our time together with a guided chakra meditation.

In this class, we will take a journey around the circumference of the hips. Wholesome hips involves moving through the five different regions of the hips: hip flexors, inner thighs, hamstrings, glutes, and quadriceps. As we release tension and subtly strengthen the hips and core we will move toward our peak pose, Utthita Hasta Padangusthasana or Standing Extended Hand-to-Big Toe Pose. After we explore the full range of motion of our hips we will be well prepared to sit for a beautiful closing heart meditation.

MJ's Soundscape Journey is a unique, multi-vibrational, deep meditation, magical, mystical ride through time, space, the inner world, and the outer world, resulting in a bliss bomb direct to the heart sound bath. Not only does MJ weave together a beautiful choreography of sound with her vast assortment of bowls, instruments, and enchanting music makers, Rob and Melissa join her to infuse the medley with their voices and musical artistry. These three have been working intuitively together for many years; what results is a skillful and creative expression of deep love and devotion, raising our frequency to a higher vibration.

Bask in the beauty of remembrance as the practice culminates in a deeply satiating sound journey savasana.

Mantra-Infused Gentle Vinyasa

with Brietta Leader

The fire of our heart is the steady pulse that not only sends oxygen and nutrients within our blood stream, but also vibration. When we drop into a practice that synchronizes breath and movement, our bodies naturally respond through heart-brain entrainment. This is the flow state, where we feel all possibilities of creativity, expression and magic. Join Brietta in her dance-based movement form that aligns you with the fire and flow of your heart, raising your vibration and strengthening your embodiment of love.

The WildCore Journey brings the entire NWYF community together in movement and celebration. This journey is gently guided, so participants can explore their own authentic movements and expression. It is a time to see and be seen in your dance. We hold space for the collective to tap their Wild Core and connect through one of the most ancient healing modalities we call dance.

Bhumi Shakti is the deep, nourishing pulse of this sacred planet. Start the morning by attuning to earth rhythm. Heartbeat to Heartbeat. Outside to inside, inside to outside. We’ll very slowly awaken hearts, minds, and bodies through artfully sequenced meditation, pranayama and movement, weaving a collective field that feels slow rich and sweet. One slow, steady, earthen breath at a time. When we are aligned with this beautiful currency, our nervous systems feel more settled and “right”, our physical and energy bodies are more calm and energized and our minds are more clear and harmonious. Our extended Luminous Body Meditation will quietly but powerfully rewire our light body system in a way that feels stabilizing and invigorating for the rest of the weekend.

For this special ritual practice, using the tools of ceremonial space, ritual honoring, and nature constellation, we’ll enter the morphic field where you’ll have the opportunity to BE the consciousness of a tree in a forest witnessing human beings, and feel the human Self being witnessed by the consciousness of the trees. Here we intimately root into our sense of belonging and kinship with the land. If you want to deepen your communication with nature beings, this is a super powerful and totally accessible process that will amplify your ability to “speak” with nature allies in a clear and meaningful way. Once immersed in the full being feel and presence of the forest, we’ll meander into a lush and beautiful yoga nidra process. Yoga nidra is a sacred rest practice AND a consciousness practice. In this particular practice we’ll restore the connection to the land of the body. We’ll effectively shift through various brain wave patterns, re-member our bodies as nature, and possibly slip ourselves into the quantum field where earthen reality, human reality; all potentials and possibilities await our vast and expanded state of being. When body and mind, breath and nervous system are at a real place of ease, there is infinite potentiality for swift healing, clearing, and creating. This Nature Body Yoga Nidra is a deeply regenerative and dreamy practice that fortifies our earth given ability to swiftly bring body and mind breath and nervous system into a real place of ease and peace.

This class will focus on developing our inner guide, as it will be a mix of slow vinyasa, yin yoga, and meditation. Tuning into our internal rhythms, we will learn to lean in, listen, and guide our bodies in each movement. The goal being to connect and practice with a deep sense of mindful listening, opening to challenge, while supporting our body's needs in each moment. All levels are welcome.

An intentional and slow meditative asana practice, this class will allow opportunity to reflect through self compassionate journaling before, during, and after our poses. Using guided prompts and journals as tools, we will create and allow space for deep awareness. Finding refuge in the breath, we will attune to present needs and feelings while inviting self compassionate reassurances to the parts of us that may need support at any given moment.
